Group Snowboard Courses
Training takes place on the “Ofelii” ski slope, and in good snow conditions and upon the instructor’s recommendation — on “Lale” slopes.
Children aged 7+ can join the snowboard training together with adults, as the specifics of the learning process allow for an individual approach and focused attention for each participant.
Depending on their skills, all participants are placed into the following groups:
❄ Beginners (Ofelii slope)
❄ Intermediate (Ofelii )
❄ Advanced (Lale slope)
Weekly courses take place on consecutive days — from Monday to Friday. Beginner groups start only on Mondays. Intermediate groups allow joining after Monday.
The duration of weekly packages ranges from a minimum of 3 to 5 days. Check our schedule for weekly courses as we have limited availability. We might organize a weekly course on request if a group of minimum 5 participants is formed.
Weekend courses are held on consecutive weekends.
Beginner groups start only on Saturdays, on the dates listed in the Schedule section.
We do not recommend attending only one of the days (Saturday or Sunday), BUT this option exists solely for intermediate and advanced children and adults.
➤ Groups are formed with a minimum of 5 participants. If fewer people sign up, the group may be bilingual.
➤ For the best results, we recommend 5–6 days of training.
➤ If you prefer lessons entirely in English, we offer individual lessons.
➤ The minimum age to start snowboarding is 7+ years. For children under 7 we would recommend private lessons.

When enrolling, children with their own ski or snowboard equipment may participate only after the parent guarantees its suitability and reliability by signing the Terms & Conditions and consulting with a Machirski Sport representative regarding size and appropriateness. For beginners, the ski/snowboard length should not exceed the child’s chin height. Personal equipment must be labeled.
Participants must wear appropriate winter clothing at all times.
It is recommended that clothing consists of two separate pieces – jacket and pants, allowing for easy removal (on the bus, at the base, outdoors). Children’s clothing should also include:
- ¾-length (thermal) socks or tights. Avoid short socks, thick wool socks, or wearing multiple pairs of regular socks.
- Children’s winter gloves (single-finger gloves allowed), not knitted.
- Helmet or winter hat covering the ears.
- Children’s backpack with a label including name, address, and parent’s phone number.
- Spare socks, gloves, and an extra t-shirt (and spare underwear for younger children).
- Sunglasses with high UV protection, preferably goggles.
- Apply sunscreen (SPF 15+) before arriving; do not use regular moisturizer.
⚠️ Dangerous items: scarves, hanging cords, and loose accessories.
If you forget or lose personal equipment, inform us immediately so we can assist in locating it.
Important: For participants under 18, parents or guardians must inform Machirski Sport about any specific medical conditions or behavioral issues relevant to the course.
The ski pass is not included in the course price and must be purchased separately. It is paid in advance for the facilities owned by Machirski Sport, which are used for BEGINNER and INTERMEDIATE levels (pistes “Ofelii” and “Vetrovala”). When choosing a ski or snowboard course, you must purchase a pass for the same duration as the course.
Ski passes for facilities owned by Vitosha Ski AD, which are used for the ADVANCED level, can be purchased on-site or online, according to Vitosha Ski’s prices and conditions. Full information about ski passes is available HERE.
Mountain insurance is included in the package price only if you register in advance via our reservation form.
The insurance policy is issued with Euroins AD and covers up to BGN 1,000 / €511.29 for medical and rescue expenses.
In the event of an insurance claim, the client must contact Machirski Sport immediately.
Machirski Sport may refuse to insure a client and is not responsible for any insurance claims if the client has not provided accurate personal information (full name, Bulgarian Personal ID Number).
When registering for a course, we recommend purchasing a “Trip Cancellation” insurance for an additional fee. This insurance can be arranged at any ZAD Armeec office within 5 calendar days after payment and at least 10 working days before the start of the ski course, upon providing the service contract.
