INFORMATION

The training can be individual and in a group.

The individual training is conducted with 1 to 3 people.

The group training is for minimum 4 people in a group, where the maximum capacity depends on the age and proficiency of skills possessed by the participants. If it is a childrens group up to 7 years old, the maximum number of people in the group are 6-8. If it is group of children above 7 years old and adults, the group can be up to 12 people. Advanced groups can be consisted of up to 15 people in one group.

According to the age and proficiency of the participants, we are offering 3 different packages for ski and snowboard training:

  • Training package SKI KINDERGARDEN – it is suitable for children from 4 to 7 years old, from beginners to skiing with parallel ski, it takes place on a ski slope Ophelii.
  • Training package BEGINNERS – it is suitable for children above 7 years old, teenagers and adults. It is created for beginners, people with 1-2 training courses or people who haven’t went skiing for a while and would like to remembert heir skills. The beginners trainning course covers all elements from class A till parallel skiing included. The participants are allocated in different groups according to their age and skillset. The training is conducted mainly on ski slope Ophelii and if the conditions allow, it can be done on ski slope Vetroval. Snowboard training is conducted only on ski slope Ophelii.
  • Training package ADVANCED – it is suitable for children above 7 years old, teenagers and adults who have 2-3 ski seasons with 15-20 days of skiing/snowboarding, that can perfrom all elements from call A in ski, know parallel skiing and use Blue, Red and Black ski slopes. The training is conducted on ski slope Lale in Vitosha mountain.

ENROLLMENT

  1. Enrollment in ski and snowboard training courses of “Machirski Sport” Ltd. is made from Monday to Thursday; 09:00 am – 06:30 pm. only online – by filled and signed Contract-winter 2020_2021 and Terms and Conditions, which have to be send to: reservations@machirski-sport.com. Email reservations are valid only after written confirmation from Machirski Sport and a full prepayment.
  2. . The payments can be made:
  • By bank transfer – with wire transfer to the bank account of Machirski Sport:

In case of payment after 12:00 pm on Friday, the client must send a scanned payment order to: reservations@machirski-sport.com.

If the payment is done by a company bank account, please send us company details to issue an invoice. 

  • By debit/credit card – you will receice a link to your email or message on your phone to make the payment.

3. For enrollment we need the following information:

  • Names of the person
  • Date of birth (for the insurance)
  • Type of sport – ski or snowboard
  • Duration of the course
  • Type of training package
  • Dates of the course
  • Level of proficiency – you can state ski slope you have been to, element of the training you know or number of courses you have been taken
  • If you like to use ski equipment – height (cm) and shoe size (European classification)
  • Transportation – which stop is most convenient for the participant- Vasil Levski National Stadion/ Stop at gas station Shell/Stop at Gotse Delchev Blvd./Stop at Billa supermarket or stop in Boyana District named”Skiorka”.
  • Phone number

If the client is under 18 years old, his/hers parent/guardian is required to inform Machirski Sport for any behavioural characteristics and illnesses of the child.

4. A mountain insurance is included in the package price only if the registration is made in advance online or by email. The certificate of insurance is issued by EUROINS Insurance Company and it covers up to 1000 BGN for medical and rescue expenses. If an insurance event occurs, the client must contact the tour operator immediately. In case the client does not provide true and correct personal data (three names, DOB, address, phone number), the tour operator can refuse to insure this client and it is not liable if an accident has occurred.

5. Children with personal equipment are accepted if the parent guarantees its suitability and reliability and therefore signs Terms and conditions and also made a successful consultation with a representative of “Machirski Sport” regarding the size and reliability of the personal equipment. For beginners, the size of the ski/snowboard shouldn’t be higher than the chin of the trainee.

6. Training packages Ski Kindergard or Beginners include lift pass for the lift facilities owned and managed by Machirski Sport. The advanced training package do not include lift pass. Machirski Sport is not responsible for and does not refund money for purchased lift passes in case of discontinuation of the facilities due to bad weather, accident or other force majeure circumstances. Machirski sport is not responsible and does not reimburse for obstruction of the course of skiing or snowboarding caused by discontinued use of lift facilities owned by Machirski Sport or other lift operator.

7. When enrolling in a training course you can add and pay an insurance Travel Cancellation that covers COVID risks. The insurance can issued up to 5 days from payment date and not less that 10 days before the starting date of the training course.

CONDUCTING

  1. Transportation

The client has to state a place of departure and return which is most convenient for him/her at the time of enrolment for a ski/snowboard course. The transportation is done with busses and vans, marked with “Machirski Sport” signs.

It is mandatory for all passengers to weak face masks in the busses.

The bus departures from the parking lot in front of “Vasil Levski” National Stadium at 08:15/08:30 am and stops at the following locations:

  • bus stop “SHELL” – bus stop after the Shell gas station on Bulgaria blvd.
  • bus stop “Gotse Delchev” – bus stop after the crossroad of Bulgaria blvd. and Gotse Delchev blvd.
  • bus stop “Billa” – bus stop after the crossroad of Bulgaria blvd. and Todor Kableshkov blvd. (across the Bulgaria Mall)
  • bus stop “Skiorka” –stop after the crossroad of “Panoramen pat” Str. and “Belovodski pat” Str. in Boyana District – 08:45 am.

 The client must wait at the chosen bus stop on 08:30 am. The bus passes by the stops later, but it is forbidden for a bus to stay on the bus stops and wait the for clients, so we prefer the clients to be earlier at the bus stop.

On return the stops are located at the opposite side of the boulevard, on the way to the city center, after the mentioned crossroads. At bus stop “Skiorka”, the bus stops before the crossroad around 03:45 – 04:00 pm. The bus arrives at the National Stadium “Vasil Levski” at 04:30 – 04:45 pm.

2. Timetable of the training

The group ski/snowboard training is for 4 hours per day – 2 hours before lunch (10:00 am – 12:00 pm), lunch break (45 mins) and 2 hours training after the lunch (01:00 pm – 03:00 pm).

The clients have to bring themselves lunch, a water bottle, and a thermos or a mug for the hot tea we serve for free.

 

3. Necessary equipment

Course participants must be dressed appropriately.

It is desirable the ski clothes to be from two parts – jacket and pants. The clothes must allow easy undressing (on the bus, at the base, outdoors) and must also include:

  • Children should wear ¾ socks (thermal) or tights. It is NOT recommended to wear short socks, thick wool socks or more than one pair of ordinary socks.
  • Children’s winter gloves – can be with one finger, but NOT knitted.
  • Helmet or winter hat that covers the ears.
  • Children’s backpack with a label with the child’s name, address and phone number of the parent.
  • Spare pair of socks, gloves and extra T-shirt (pair of underwear for the little ones).
  • Sunglasses with high UV protection, recommended mask type.

On children should be put sunscreen cream (SPF +15), not moisturizing.

DANGEROUS are scarves, ties, all hanging accessories.

When using your own equipment, it must be labeled and tailored to the height (up to the chin) and capabilities of the child.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. The client may cancel his participation for the course or part of the course, without any penalties, if notifies the Tour Operator (TO) within 2 days before the starting date of the course at email office@machirski-sport.com. If cancelled in shorter term, 70% of the package price will be refunded. The client may delay and change a day of the course only if the client has informed Machirski Sport for his absence at least 24 hours prior to the course date by email: office@machirski-sport.com or with a message to tel.: +359 885 04 22 44. In every other case, the missed day/s cannot be used. The client may change and use missed day/s in the next 3 weeks from the course end day. With a delay of the three weeks for using the missed day/s passed, the day/s cannot be used. After the three weeks and missing a whole course of the Client, a 70% of the package price will be refunded.
  2. Cancelations after used 2 days out of 4 days, 3 days of 5 days, 4 days of 6 days, no refunds are made. In case of cancellation after used 1 day out of 2- and 4-day packages, as well as used 1 or 2 days out of 3-, 5- and 6-day packages or 3 days out of 6-day package, the price for the used number of days is withheld from the package according to the price list announced on the Machirski Sport website – www.machirski-sport.com, and the difference being refunded. A used day is considered to be the day on which the Client departs with the organized transport or arrives at the ski centres of Ophelii / Vetroval / Aleko.
  3. Missed days can only be worked out until 03/31/2021. After that date, Machirski Sport will retain 100% penalty for all unused services. The Client has the right to transfer its rights and obligations under the contract to a third party by giving a written notice to Machirski Sport. Depending on the specifics of the type of the course chosen, the third party surcharge may be required.
  4. Financial assets are refundable only upon presentation of a recipe and/or an invoice. Financial assets will be refunded by 03/31/2021. Travel cancellation insurance may be issued and paid against additional payment. The insurance can be issued up to 5 days after the payment is made and not less than 10 days before the date of the ski course.
  5. The Client undertakes to observe the safety rules of the ski centres of Ophelii, Vetroval and Aleko. 

Rights and obligations of the Tour operator

  1. The TO can change the starting data of the course, if the conditions for conducting the course are not appropriate. The TO is obliged to coordinate the change with the client, as the new dates of the course have to be agreed with the Client. If the Client cannot work out the course in another period the amount of the course will be refunded.
  2. The TO can change some of the dates of the course, after its beginning, if the conditions are not appropriate. The new dates should be coordinated with the Client. If the Client is enabled to work out the new dates, he is refunded for the unused days of the course.
  3. It is desirable, the Client to put a name tag on his personal belongings. The TO is not responsible for lost/forgotten or stolen items. If a Client lose/forget an item, he/she has to inform the TO within 24 hours. The Client have to provide the TO with exact information for the brand, model, colour of the lost possession, so the TO can try to find it.
  4. The TO is not responsible when there is an abnormal road traffic due to problem with the cleaning of the road Sofia – Vetrovala Ophelii; Sofia – Aleko, as well as in case of accidents, related with the electricity power.

CLAIMS

In case of failure or inadequate performance of the contract, Client must immediately inform and seek responsibility of the TO. The complaint is submitted orally or in writing. When a claim is made, the Customer indicates the subject of the claim, the preferred way of claiming it, the claim amount and the contact address. When submitting a claim, the Customer must also attach the documents on which the claim is based: a receipt or invoice; protocols, acts or other documents establishing the failure or inadequate performance of the contract

The client is obliged to inform immediately the TO and all claims shall be indicated at the place where the accident happened and should be created a certified report, signed by the people appointed or authorized to certify the relevant facts and circumstances. Machirski Sport describes the claim in a register  and  issue to the Customer a document containing the date, the number under which the claim was entered in the register, the type of service and the signature of the person who accepted the claim. – Claims must be made within 14 days from the date of the failure or inadequate performance. Complaints are accepted in the office where the service is ordered;  at the address: Sofia, 19 Tsar Shishman Str. or by e-mail: office@machirski-sport.com. If the claim is satisfied, the Tour Operator issues an act and provides one copy to the consumer

OTHER CONDITIONS

For breach of contractual obligations of either party, the provisions of the Law on Obligations and Contracts and the Bulgarian legislation shall be applied.

This contract is signed in two copies, one for each side.

Anti-epidemic measures and rules for conducting ski and snowboard training by “Machirski Sport” Ltd.

 

  • Each client must possess personal disinfectant, mask / buff or bandana and wet wipes.
  • When boarding the organized bus, the participants’ hands must be disinfected, each participant uses a mask / buff (multifunctional collar) or a bandana to cover the nose and the mouth.
  • Participants with symptoms such as cold, runny nose, sneezing, sore throat, mild cough and fever are not allowed to board the bus and to participate in sport activities.
  • In the company bases/houses, the participants must keep distance of at least 1.5 m from each other, as well as use a mask / buff / bandana.
  • Information boards are placed in the company bases, which inform the participants about the obligation to observe physical distance and hand hygiene.
  • To maintain good hygiene, customers have access to bathrooms and disinfectants in the bases.
  • The team is instructed to monitor the health and to notice COVID symptoms of the participants
  • The training is conducted in groups up to 10 people
  • The distance between the students during the training should not be less than 1 m
  • Methods of teaching and supporting students through direct contact (teacher-student or student-student) are avoided. Teachers must wear a mask / buff / bandana.
  • Snow sports teachers must take into account and prevent the accumulation of groups when leading students.
  • To avoid moving clients from one group to another as much as possible.
  • Maximum hygiene is ensured through strict procedures for regular cleaning and disinfection, at least 2 times a day, incl. on all surfaces that can be touched by the team and participants.
  • Natural ventilation is used as long as temperatures allow.
